The brief
Interior work has a different brief than exterior — the client already owns the viewer's attention once they're inside the frame, so the job was to justify it, room by room. Timber & Marble needed to make deep wood panelling and marble read as a coherent material language, not two finishes competing for attention.
Animation was part of the deliverable, so we designed the interior sequence with a camera path in mind from the start — a route through the apartment a viewer could plausibly walk, not a series of disconnected still setups stitched together after the fact.
Light and materials
We warmed the color temperature slightly throughout, letting the timber's grain carry most of the warmth while the marble stays cool and reflective by contrast — the tension between the two materials is the point, not something to smooth over.
Every surface was modeled at a resolution that holds up in close-up animation frames, not just wide stills — grain direction, marble veining and panel seams all had to survive the camera moving close.
